ok im not a newb and im not lookin for an exact time here or anything....but anyways.....i put a z6 block/ y8 head with all new oem seals/belts/headgasket/gaskets and a 6puck clutch, and arp headstuds in my 90 si hatch......also a z6intake manifold and ls tb......y8 exhaust......i believe my timing is off by a half a tooth, is that possible? im using a z6 belt....and y8 cam gear.....it holds a steady 900-1000 rpms at idle but i can hear missfires.....and my car seems much slower than it should be, like not a whole lot faster than stock si hatches.....can i use a z6 cam gear on the y8 head to fix the bad timing

pm6......msd vtec activation.......what i really wanna know is what is a "possible" time.....cuz im reading about 14.6 crx's with just a a6/z6.....so shouldnt i be lookin at below a 15???? and that should dominate stock efs

 

low 15s seems normal for a y8 or z6 and bolt-ons. migh 14s MAYBE with alot of weight reduction and tuning...
