Default All Techs: Please help, getting unwanted check engine light

My check engine light goes on every time. I start my car and drive, after a few miles the light goes on. I checked it and it was code 3 aka map sensor and also I was getting the code for the VSS aka vechicle speed sensor. I replaced the map sensor but code 3 showed up again. I don't know what to do with the speed sensor. What should do? Also:
I ran 14.3 on stock tires, aem and exhaust. The check engine light went off and I was never able to run or beat 14.3 again. Any suggestions? Any advice?
Can these codes affect my 1/4 times?

I would do a continuety check on all related map sensor wiring. Check the clip also to make sure it's not damaged, or coroded. You don't have any sort of fuel computers installed, do you?

Have you checked the VSS ? Is the speedo working correctly? If so, check for poor connections or loose wires. I take it you are not under warranty anymore?

I had a v-afc that caused MAP sensor codes on my car. Check your continuity of power/signal/ground at the plug and at the sensor itself, and also at the ecu.

Yes, can you provide a bit more info. It is hard to diagnose a problem if there are too many unknowns. Do you have a VAFC? Mods?

Do you have a V-AFC or Field Vtec controller unit?

Your assumption is correct: the car is not under warranty. I do have a Field Vtec controller. Can it be loose wiring? I check the sensors and it seemed that they were fine.

How can I see if the speedo is working correctly?

Ok, was the MAP sensor bad? Do you know that for sure? I have heard of others with the Field unit tripping codes, too. And you KNOW that your performance is different or you THINK that it is? Make sure it's not just a psychological assumption because you see that shiny light. I am pretty sure it has to do with your controller.

My hat goes off to you GUYS!! You were 100% right. I examined the Field unit and the wires came loose. The Butt connectors didn't hold too well. So I just used twisted the wires together and mended them up with 3M electrical tape. I thank all my fellow import brothers. Job well done. Thanks for all your advice. I'm so happy I can rely on HT to get the job done instead of some mechanic specializing in *** f**king.(Exageratted pricing)
