check out ephatch.com for some reviews. I love mine and I picked up an '03 new off the showroom floor for only 15k (13 miles on it). This was in April 04. The only issue I have with it is the grinding (crappy synchros) but it wasn't enough to deter me from getting mine. Also, Honda Financing had a 2.9% rate going on all Civics when I picked mine up, but not sure if that's still going.

Hey I have an ep im selling I took the turbo back off, but I still have a tone of parts for it. Depending on what parts you would or wouldn't want we can work on the price. I put the turbo on with 10000 miles on the car and it has 12400 now when I took it off. Heres a link to my post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=896335

...Yes.
Because we all know metal weighs less than strips of carbon fiber....
Ferrari makes their body's out of carbon fiber for a reason....
The McLaren F1 is made from carbon fiber for a reason...
ITS LIGHTER.
To creator: Nothing against the EP3, but if you want it as a semi-fast daily driver. then you've found your car. But if you're looking to do any sort of track driving (drag strip or auto-x) to the car, then your looking at an engine swap, or a turbo.
The K20a3 pushes out 160 HP, and some measly torque numbers ( somewhere down in the 130's) ITS NOT A BAD MOTOR. its just not a good one for modification.
So if you just want a car to drive. get the EP3.
But if you can afford to keep your ex, and buy an ep3 I say you sell the EX and buy an RSX-S used. why not? better motor, faster, and has vtec on both cams, not just intake

No, you don't get an EP3 for a daily driver. If you want a daily driver, you get a Civic EX and cruise in that. If you want a car that you want to spiffy up, you get an EP3 - and you should probably turbo it (even if you're not gonna take it to the tracks.)
I've also read a few places that the carbon rear hatch weighs more than the stock one... He's not crazy. I just assumed it was more for bling than weight reduction...

It may be lighter, but don't kid yourself. The same Carbon used by race teams is not the same as the 300 Vis CF hood you have.

Also read the same(wish I knew where so we can show somekind of proof to any naysayers) but with the oem glass in place the cf did weigh a few lbs more.
