ok i found one post back from 02 about this. so far, what im guessing is either a bad MAP sensor, or i have my IAT and IACV plugged in backwards.

any other ideas?

this happened to a friend of mine in his H22 eg and it turned out that the sensor on the front of the IM had the wrong plug connected to it.

the stock civic CX harness, we're wiring and pinning the sensors that arent on that harness.

Doesn't a stock CX motor have IAC valve? In the civic it is referred to as a EAC valve it is the same thing its pinned at A9 just like the IAC valve. This should already be present in the harness there is no wiring needed to get the IAC valve going. Check the colors of the wires on the IAT sensor it should be grn/wht & red/yel. Your IAC valve should be blu/yel & yel/blk if you are using civic harness for IAC valve. Or blk/blu & yel/blk if you are using Prelude harness.
