Default Back from a sh.... day on track

I will never hit a track again one weekend before the F1 teams arrive..

What a mess ! So this is what I took there and what made me decide to interrupt my trackday and return home

1) No access to the drivers area
2) No access to the boxes
3) No access to the normal entry and exit. Had to enter and leave the track on little paths, had to drive through loose stones on the ground.. man...
4) sun, rain , sun , rain, rain, rain... uhmm sun... sometimes.
5) None of my buddies have been cleared for this trackday, so I was alone (...boring)
6) In my group only drove GT3, GT2, caterhams, Ferraris... with drivers who cannot behave (young rich guys who don`t really care for a wrecked Porsche)
They cut the line, weren`t leaving enough room for me to escape and such things....
7) The brake problem what I mentioned a few days before became worse and worst... soft pedal, no pressure, no stopping power.
8) Anyway, I take the experience with me, that not every trackday is fun in any case......and I took my car home safely.

I did my very best to keep up with the three Elises in the field but most of the time my eyes were in the rear mirror...

I`m pissed....go and fix my brakes and try to do better next time.
yeah, and I took some pics.. maybe I will upload them later

I really hope that Murcialago didn't have to access the track on the "stone path" too.

We all had to because the Hockenheimring Company was preparing for the F1

That's odd... I consider it to be a GOOD track event when I have...

- no accidents
- no traffic citations on the way there or back
- a dry track at least half of my sessions.

Yours sounds like you had at least two, and maybe even the third one...

Those "rich guys" can drive..... but they can not behave.. They do not respect the presence of smaller cars. No ITR or CTR would "roll them".

Looks like you're post whoring all over this forum this morning.

Anyway, sorry about your less than ideal track day. Great car though, and nice pics!

Hey, you use the same number I use on my ITR at the track: 47.

Only because mine was 00-0047, or at least that's what was on the armrest.

Dont' sweat a bad day...only the mediocre are always at their best.

just chalk it up to being a good learning experience so you know better next time. or at least this will make your next event seem MUCH better.

Gonna need some more pressure in that manifold to run with the exotics.

That's good company you keep. I bet you certainly made a few of those Ferrari drivers nervous when you didn't disappear in the rear view mirror.
