I was wondering if it would be possible to gut my car completely and then put Integra wiring in it. (if that makes sense) Here are the plans.
I have a 88 CRX and am planning on dropping a b16a2 in to (obd1) and I plan on doing a interior swap (at least the dash and door panels). I want to be able to use all the functions.
I figure rather than rewiring everything I figure I can gut it and just place Integra wiring in (from a 95 Integra GSR). I have a 2000 dash but using a 95 or 96 Gauge cluster.
Want to know what you guys (for the few gals) think. I already have everything and my buddy has a 96 Integra GSR so I'm sure I can compare when I need to. Are there anything I should be aware of (EXAMPLE: windshield wipers won't work cause my CRX doesn't have the connecting on it)? Thanks guys.
(oh yeah I already have a complete interior/underdash/engine harness and have the dash/gauge(well shortly)/climate control)
Also another question while I'm at it will the heater blower/vents all match up for my CRX or do I need to swap that out also? Planning on BEGINNING this on Tuesday while I wait to build my exterior.

I think your crazy, your talking above having to rewire everything. Not just the dash, but lights, Relays, stereo, fuel pump, fans. And then crossing your fingers that something doesnt connect right or blow up. I know you have the harnesses, but thats to much work for me lol. Good luck man

Anybody else? I understand I can rewire the wires that are already in it, but I want something original. I am still wondering if there are connectors that won't match up? I am planning on gutting everything anyways I figured I can just switch the wires and solder here and there to make life a little more easier. Well let me know.

if you have the whole harness your going to have a pretty easy job. just make sure you dont forget any grounds. as far as all the littes go the is the simple part just mark your wires before you cut them cause there all gona stay in the car and then you can just solder them together . same with the fuel sending unit, and fuel pump its very easy dude espe : cialy with the car gutedgood luck :
