Default Cost of changing transmission?

How much would it cost me all up to change from automatic transmission to manual?
Also, what other parts would I need to buy to have it all up and running, including clutch, flywheel etc.

Also, I want to know what engine is my specific model, It's a 1994 Integra Gsi.

Plan on getting a new clutch and flywheel as it wouldn't be smart to get these components used. I'd say you can pick up a manual tranny for about $400 US, and then a good clutch and flywheel combo for another $400. You'll either have to relocate the mounting location for the upper tranny mount with a cutter and a welder, or you'll have to buy the mount from Place Racing that is made for this conversion, I think it'll probably cost about $150 to get one to Australia. You'll need a manual tranny pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder and fluid reservoir, the two big hard lines, the slave cylinder, and a manual transmission ECU. I usually see the peripheral parts selling out of junkyards for about $250, but plan on the ECU costing upwards of another $150. This being said, I think $1350 is a solid estimate, not including any labor charges. You may be able to catch a few hook-ups and get a few good deals on things, but it'll still be expensive in the long run.

Nicely explained, thanks for that.
I was expecting roughly around $2000 AU to get it all done.
So anything below that quote would be a bonus for me

But if anyone living in Sydney has any information it would be appreciated as well.

I know someone who got a conversion with the replacement tranny mount. The car rode like **** in my opinion. You feel a lot of vibration because the shock absorbers that are used with the custom mount are too thin and low quality.
