OEM ZC Head Handle 13psi?
Dont know much about what a head can take. But my friends certain he can run 13-15psi tuned on his dual cam zc. Anyone know if there are any problem with oem **** at those levels. I dunno just have some questions
May boost my soch down the road. Head work other than a cam might not be in the budget

I sent you an IM but for the point of people reading this post i'd highly recomend checking out http://www.homemadeturbo.com , they told about block posting and how that will last up to 25 PSI. As for the head i don't see why not but as for the stock rods...i have always heard after 6-8 PSI you need to replace them with stronger ones.
Good luck

my dads a machienest and he did some work on a head one time that a guy wanted to run 35 psi on. ill tal to him later on and ask what he did exactly but i guess it worked the guy loves him. always wants him to do more.

The weakest link in a stock d16 are the rods. I think that even with good tuning, your rods will give way and put a hole in your block. You can run about 200 whp safely before requiring upgrading internals. Still at that power I would invest in some internals. You can post the block or get new sleeves.

Sounds like you should really do some searching.
