High CR.. do i need to upgrade the starter?

talked to a guy in Tilton Racing. hes saying that if i want to run over 12:1 compression i will need a more powerful starter..
so im wondering..with 12.3 all motor B18CR.. am i just fine with stock starter?

personal experience.

i have 14:1 stock starter and a battery that sat on my garage floor for 6 months started it
