but its not for 4x4s...its for lowered cars...when the tow truck hooks his chain on your stock tow hooks, and you have a lip in the front or even not, the bumper would get messed up because when the chain gets pulled, it goes up and bends the middle of the front bumper

whats a dirve ?
**** I don't only want to see just benen but Preludes with black and silver both attached to the front bumper but only the silver has additional speed holes drilled but the black is mounted farther out
if someone can find that picture I'll be impressed, then realize what that looks like and

Bullshit. If you asked every single person on here with benen or other tow hooks I would bet 85% of them have them attached by screwing them onto the bumper or something else flimsy, and there might be 5 on this board that have had their cars towed with them.
Not excluding people who actually race their cars that actually use them for a function, the people that put them on their cars is for stupid looks.

the tow hooks only have to pull the car not lift it off the ground.
a serious track car would use a better design, while benen's should do the job a good tow will leave them Fubar

it doesnt have to be lifted off the ground. if the chain on the tow truck is at a height of 3 feet off the ground, and your cars stock tow hooks are under the car, behind the bumper, and a few inches off the ground, when the chain gets pulled it will lose the slack and the pressure will be applied to the bumper. most tow trucks dont have chain hooks that are at the same level as our stock tow hooks on lowered cars
