This is my first time on the strip tonight, taking my 94 LS with new (1000miles) exedy clutch and ACT Streetlite flywheel, and Magnaflow stainless catback exhaust... Other than that, stock. does anybody have any pointers for me ? shiftpoints ? thanks for any assistance.

 

i got some really good launches by holding it around 3500 rpm and feathering the clutch and once it grabs give it gas.... turned out some 2.1 60 fts

other than that shift right before redline

 

in 3rd gear shift @ 6500rpm instead of redline. our 3rd gear is way to long knocking you out of the power band

2.1 60ft on street tires? u must be one hell of a driver.

so shifting at 6500 in 3rd really helps? i always shift at redline or right before the revv limiter.

it took about 17 runs to get good at it...

i'm just shifting into 4th as the quarter mile ends

 

LS tranny can be a pain at the track.
