OBD-0 cable transmission on OBD-1 D15B vtec?
Ok i'm posting this for my cousin. He has an 89 HF, and his engine is going to ****.
We already have a D15b Vtec for him, but we don't wanna go through the drama of the cable-hydro conversion.
My question is, Can we use the d15b Vtec (with conversion harnesses to OBD1 of course) with his Cable tranny? If so, what sorts of things would we need to make it work? Thanx
P.S. I've searched

Distributor has nothing to do with the tranny. An obd-1 SOHC VTEC ( i think it needs to be from 1992-95) distributor will bolt up fine and work with your OBD-1 ECU.

so all i will need to put in an OBD1 engine into my cousin's CRX is a jumper harness (obd-0 to obd-1) and an OBD1 ecu huh? Since i can reuse the cable tranny
