What do you guys thinkg about trading integs?
Ok, so I was on Craigslist the other day and someone post's their salvaged '94 integ for $4200 or willing to trade for an automatic. I emailed him and he wants the automatic for his sister. He says everything's fine and the motor is the original. didnt give details about the salvaged title. i told him i might consider trading if he throws in $1k to $2k, depending on condition. he wants to meet now. you guys think theres something wrong w/ this car or he's just a nice brother? would it be safe if i brought his car to a mechanic for a thourough inspection?
sounds like a decent deal, pending details of the SALVAGE TITLE
if it's a theft recovery salvage and has been properly restored, then
it's it's salvage due to collision.....
also, be sure to get a compression test done as well

my opinion...........Do not do it
you can sell your integra on a regular sale site like http://www.autotrader.com for at least $4000....maybe $4500 if you're lucky and your car is mint, then you can use that money to get yourself a very nice 5speed manual teg with a clean title. Just be patient, and it's always better wot work with cash than a trade unless you are getting equal value in return......this is not the case here.
