Well, the engine is a 99 USDM b18c1 going into an EG DX

A. Four sets of plugs near the passenger side shock mount ( I managed to hook up 3 of them) One is left ( 3 wires) which I presume is the VTEC, etc..
B. Three sets of plugs on the driver side shock mount ( I hooked them up with no problem)
C. Then there is this extra set of plug on the engine wire harness that is located right underneath the Intake manifold (it is 4 wires). This plug is what I can't find a home for on the chassis harness.

The extra plug with three wires is for the CKF and EVAP purge solenoid.

The wht/red and blu/red wires are for the CKF and the red wire is for the EVAP purge solenoid.

Since you are putting an OBD2 GS-R motor into an EG all you need to do is plug all of the plugs up except for the 3-wire plug you mentioned. It is not needed.

To answer your third question...that 4-wire plug is for the O2 sensor.

I have a question for you...which ECU do you intend to use?

If you want to run an OBD1 ECU (highly recommended) you will need to rearrange the wires for the IAB. You will need to cut the black wire that is for the IAB. Now, you will need to give that black wire on the IAB plug a 12V switched source. You can get this from the yel/blk wire at the injectors or at the IACV.

For some reason OBD2 ECUs trigger the IAB with a positive trigger and OBD1 ECUs trigger the IAB with a negative trigger. I found this out a few years back while doing a swap.

If you want to run the '99 USDM GS-R ECU you will need an OBD2 to OBD1 ECU conversion harness. I will be happy to sell you one of my harnesses but you will be much happier if you just get an OBD1 GS-R ECU. This will allow you to have it reprogrammed and will help to simplify your install. But, if for some reason you want to run the OBD2 GS-R ECU please email me so I can make you a harness.

If you have any questions just email me.

Good luck.

Thanks kenji for the detailed replies. I managed to start the car yesterday after going thru the wires with the factory manual. The factory stated that 92 EG has Vtec wire so it saved me some wiring to do. I have a odb1 ECU and a skunk manifold so the only code I got was the Oxygen sensor which I have suspected since it's not hook up. What I can't understand, was that the knock sensor wasn't hooked up either but it didnt' throw that code.

I think the OBDI ecu doesn't support the knock sensor. Mine is hooked up but if I unhook it from the ecu plug, it doesn't throw a code.
