I am looking for someone that can either modify a hasport K20 harness for EK or make a custom harness for k20a EK that will allow me to use a RSX-S cluster (100% functional) or even just shed some more light on the subject . I know this is complex & already asked brian G but its too much for hasport to do a "one-off" harness

I am willing to supply
RSX-S interior harness
RSX-S multiplexor / under the dash fuse box
RSX-S engine harness*
RSX-S charging harness*
2000 Dx engine harness*
2000 Dx interior harness

I have a RSX-S cluster with the plugs (wires cut)

* may be substituted with custom hasport EK/K20a harness

but one area will be easier since this time there will be a k20a swap to go with the cluster

any help or anyone that can suggest who i can talk to who might be able to this - would be greatly appreciated.

one possibility would be to run (convert to) everything off the RSX interior harness ???

I am not a wiring guru. If you really want to do this, why not just use a complete RSX dash board and hook everything up to the k motor via ecu?

 

I'd like to stick w/EK dash....I don't really like the RSX-S dash - just the cluster I know it can be done in a eg...thanks tho

Time for me to bust out the interior harness diagrams for the RSX-S and my dx hatch from my helms manuals...I don't know squat about wiring tho

thanks for the vote of confidence - but after thoroughly looking into this - i found this is NOT something for me to tackle (& F up $1000+ worth of harnesses )

Man, too bad I'm about to start school, I'm qualified to do this, I'm semi-local, but i'm not going to have the time.

I'm finishing up an H22 into a 6th gen accord at the moment.

sorry - but its not f/s...you'll need the fuse box/multiplexor to get the gauge cluster to work properly (aside from the RSX interior harness)

anyways Hybrid-Racing is going to make a custom harness for me...I just need to source 99-00 DX engine & firewall (& maybe floor harness too - not sure if I need it or not, but I am going to supply it just in case). it won't be for a while tho - jdm k20a swap is being installed this winter

Should be interesting tho - b/c it looks like I may be able to use the RSX-S engine harness almost completely unmodified - coupled with the RSX-S interior harness modified to plug into the dash. this would mean I would get to use all the OEM RSX-S relays - instead of hardwiring them or wiring them into the EK main relay

Hey, if you want the floor harness from rsx I can sell it to you. The only thing thats missing is a factory amp wire, which I'm sure you dont need. I'm really sure this harness would make your car more complete so your gauges would get more signals, like the fuel pump, and ext... These sell for $375 or something like that, I'll sell it less than half, because I want to see the pics of your gauges, and then I'll know I had a little to do with them.

no - i don't have the turn signal & headlights switch... hybrid racing is going to modify the rsx interior harness to plug into the EK dash (including the headlights & turn signals). Thats why I am suppling the rsx-s interior harness, rsx-s engine harness, rsx-s multiplexor/fusebox & the EK interior harnesses...in return I will get a modified RSX-S engine harness (longer battery lines) and a modified RSX-S interior harness with custom wiring for plugs (oem ek) for the ek dash

edit - sorry I don't need the rsx-s floor harness either - there is no reason for me to get the rsx-s floor harness...oem EK floor harness will plug into modified RSX-S interior harness
