There is a topic about them in the All Motor forum... I think I am planning on running these cams in my GSR block w.025 OS JDM ITR slugz + sGT hondata tuning..

Hoping for some good results, just need to get rid of JDM 4-1

Yah i have looked at jun and toda they are just toooo pricey.. i had the spec b's but they were more trouble then anything.. i was hoping someone here has tried these.. poelple told me to try out spoon but the gains on the spoon not even worth the labour.. so i wana get a good set of cams.. on the bad side since I live in vancouver they have smog test here on vehicles if i put the jun or toda in meaning i have to take the cams out every 2 years to do the test..

I have the Buddy Club Spec III+ cams on my 97 JDM B18c (type-r) motor. They increased the low and mid range power a lot. Throttle reponse is far more responsive. These cams idle very smooth (almost like stock.) I would highly recommend using these in conjunction with cam gears because you do need to advance the intake cam (+2) to get the best throttle response.

Toda/JUN cams too pricey? But you are willing to r&r cams for aircare every two years?? That doesn't make any sense.

ANY cams are going to be a lot of work to maximize their power output in a motor like the B18C5 - which is already putting out a lot of power/L.

If you don't want AirCare headaches - then keep your engine stock.

You should check out my dyno graph on my GSR with P73A0's. These cams are amazing in the midrange, and I still haven't really felt the top end due to an unhappy clutch.

Do you have anything that you can prove this? I'm sure you know something that alot of us don't?

We have a cam measuring machine that reads to .10 degree of rotation and six decimal places for measuring lift.
As we've quitely been developing our own "Bump Stix", we've examined most of what's out there lookin specifically at ramp speeds which could compromise valve spring durability.
I can tell you that there are a number of cams out there that seem to vary considerably from batch to batch.
We've also examined camshaft hardness as well as surface hardnesses in an effort to make cams that will be resilient enough not to snap at the edges of the lobe intersects. while still having enough stiffness to handle torsional forces, and surface hardnesses that will be complatible with stock-style rockers...and extreme valve spring load pressures.
It's been a real "trip".
