I'm not completely sure, but I think it's every 60k miles? Don't quote me on that.

So based on the above statement, you'll be fine.

Changing coolant i believe just keeps your radiator clean. No research to base this on but far as I know antifreeze is just that...antifreeze. You get you cooling properties more from the water. So yes it would be a good idea to flush it out but it won't necessarily make it run cooler.

the process of flushing coolant is more than just to keep the rad. clean. the radiator is only a part of the cooling system, you could find fine metal partical in old/used coolant. I am sure your aluminum water gallery in the motor doesnt get too happy with that.

the first flush is around 3year, after that every 2 year. Just a general rules of thumb. honda charge about 70 dollar for the complete flush and refill.

all you need to do is drain and refill it with flesh coolant, dont forget to bleed the air out and drain the heater core and block.

I just added some coolant liquid, and at Schucks they told me to just fill it up. Then I started reading the manual (after refill) and there they talk about draining the cooler first, then the engine, but they do not mention anything about the bleeding out the air. I managed to find the coolant drain, but the engine drain was no where to be found.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with this matter on a 1990 model ? (HONDA ACCORD EX)
