Default spoon sports quality

I know most spoon products are modified honda components, so my question is Are spoon cams equivalent to ctr cams durability and quality wise? I AM NOT ASKING FOR POWER DIFFERENCES. The reason for the question is because I have been reading that all aftermarket cams are subject to wear at a much greater rate than OEM. (I am still researching this since the internet is full of BS so I like to really research before I believe anything.) it says they are manufactured by honda.

Aftermarket cams wear out faster because of their increased lift and duration not because they are made from inferior materials.

If you have ever rotated a TODA cam in a head to set tension on a timing belt or do a valve adjustment, it is very difficult to rotate a 12.5mm cam against the rocker pads. All of this extra friciton from the additional lift is what wears the cams out. Not what the cam is made out of.

Spoon cams are made by honda, so they should be durable just like honda cams.

That makes sense, sorry for the post (seems kinda stupid now). BUT how long can one expect high lift and duration cams to last? Does this mean the rockers will wear out as well?

performance cams usually have a lifespan of 30,000 miles and yes they do put extra wear on rockers.

cool thanks for the help. I am guessing the more aggressive the cam the faster the wear right? So milder cams (Jun II's, skunk stage 1, spoon, etc.) would last longer?

in theory yes, the wear on the rockers will be less, but it really depends on the quality of the cam itself as to how long it lasts.

It's fairly common knowledge that Spoon cams are simply more agressive Honda cams.
