Hi there folks! I need your help desperately. I just bought a 04 Accord with the stock radio(as it anyways comes with it), and also bought alongside it, a Nokia Car Kit for my phone. I am driving quite a bit and one of my girlfriends told me that this would work well for me. You see, I opened up my whole dash and everything- and dont find a wire that says "Cellular Mute" which is intended to mute the stereo whenever a call is received or when in use. What I would also love to do is to find a way to use the car's internal speakers to have the listener's voice come through the car speakers. If thats not possible, no worries, but I really want this Cellular Mute thing to work!! Can you help me with this ASAP, as I have my entire lower-dash removed for this installation and driving around as is! Enough said for luring burglars!! PLease!! Help me!! Thanks! -Kristina

 

The wire won't say it on it, if there is such wire. You need the wire color code from the factory to know this info, and normally the techs at the dealer have this info. Being the car that new, it will be hard to find some aftermarket help.

I'd suggest to take the car to the dealer to do this install, instead of trying to do it your self. I know it could be a lil expensive but it is safer.

Wait, getting a wire harness for aftermarket radio will help. This way you'll know if there is a wire that mutes the radio from there. I don't have a part number right now but I can get it tomorrow when I get to work.

You're in London, do they carry Metra harnesses down there???
