What would you take the Del Sol or a Hatchback?

del sol that came with B16 stock

 

hatch... thats just me, dell sols are too heavy

Not really that bad.. del Sol S's weigh in @ 2290.. Dosn't seem that bad to me..

 

I'd take the hatch....lighter and not a chick car (puts on flame suit)

 

I chose a del sol. If I could have a project car though it would be a hatch.

Del sol &gt; Civic
-targa top
-two seater (not hauling friends around)

Civic &gt; Del Sol
-extra room for crap
-just gotta love the shape of the eg hatch.

I think there are a couple of these threads...check them out if you are considering buying one of them.

BTW....most of them are not EG but EH rather

 

well to slightly disagree with SolObsession (whos name makes his choice VERY obvoius :D) i love my hatch. keep in mind, with a 2+2 you pretty much wont be hauling people around anyway (no one is comfortable in a back seat that cramped), and with my si i've got a sun roof, so i dont need no targa top

I gotta say I have lots of love for the hatch...my buddy has a cx w/B18, white mmmmmm I love both of them..... *sniff* *sniff* DONT MAKE ME PICK JUST ONE!!!!!! haha

 

Personally I'd pick the Sol. It's a little more unique than a civic. Also, it might be a chic car, but I've never complained about chics loving my car

 

i owned a del sol for 5years.. loved every minute of it... added a turbo to the D16Z6 loved it even more...

then got bored, sold it, started a new project... LOVE my hatch now'

 

i have a hatch and i had some doubts but i dunno i like them both but i think i am gonna keep the hatch.

 

Del Sol = you and your girl

Hatch = you and your homies

(im talking about how many people you could fit, go from there).

Ahhhh hands down fellas,I have a 94 Del Sol VTEC.I went from a 93 hatch (which I loved) to a Nissan truck and then I found my "SOUL",plus side is,you dont see many done up out there.Everywhere I look I see hatches and coupes.If you can get a stock VTEC,Id say go for it.Dont settle for any other model Sol,you'll only wish you got the VTEC or settled for the hatch (lol).........SOL,SOL,SOL!!!!

I got an EK sedan, but I still vote for the hatch!

PS. My GF has a D16Z6 Del Sol and it sux azz!

Some of the sols do have that problem.... check behind the steering wheel and above the seat... that is where the problem usually is. Just playin.
