i put my key in my ignition and turned it once. I heard the pump and then i heard this weird squeel.

 

will the car start or did you just cut it off when you heard that sound?..could be an alternator belt slipping..my makes that squeaking sound when i first start it up..i just need to tighten my alternator more apparently..hope tthat helps..if not..maybe someone else will chime in..peace

no its that. ive already delt with that. it sounds like the fuel pump maybe or oil pump. i click the key one turn. it still starts fine. no problems. there's just a squeel right after i turn the key one click.

 

Don't knock me but on my VW Fox I have the same thing and my buddy works at a German shop and he was telling me something of a bearing going out in the fuel pump or something like that. Maybe that helps?

 

yeah i think that might be it. the sound seems like it would fit that description
