So somehow I've got a rare honda civic. I didn't know this was possible. Anyways I'm told it is the HF model. I'm looking for a catalytic converter as i need to pass emmisions. The cat is connected to the exhaust manifold and serves as a collector. I cna take a picture of it if anyone needs it for reference but i'm sure if you have the part for sale or know where i can find one you know what i am talking about. THe car is an 89 civic hatch with a 1.5l and a 4 speed manual. any and all help would be greatly appreciated. sohfast.com was unable to source me a cat.

 

There is no Civic HF, it was probably a Civic STD (Standard).

 

Just go to any reputable muffler shop and get what they have.


You don't want to spend any money trying to get "go-fast" parts for your eninge.
THAT engine is NOT worth any upgrades.

 

Just have a muffler shop weld on a second cat underneath the car.

 

I'm not making the car go fast. It's my daily driver, I have 2 cars that are fast. this car jsut gets great gas mileage and is enjoyable.

I was told that the model i need is the hf.
