Default Cracking sound at 3000 rpms

I am currentley having a problem reving over 3000 rpms. I have posted this topic before but i didn't mention that when it gets to 3000 rpms i hear a loud buzzing/cracking sound from the exhaust. as the sound gets louder, it revs slower, then the engine cuts out at 3000 rpms and comes back when the rpms go back below 3000.

I do get a code 6 and code 8 from the ecu. I checked the manual and tested everything and it all checks out, the last step is replace the ecu. Does this sound like an ecu problem?

I would try another but I don't know anyone else that has a pr3 ecu. I could buy one off of e-bay or a online store i have to. But does this sound like an ecu problem?

pr3 with a b16a, i checked the wiring and everything checks out. I went through the honda shop manual and everything checks out and it is still sending a code 6 and 8.

Sounds like backfire. Check all your battery ground connections and make sure they're snug. Check the spark plugs and spark plug wires for wear. Replacing them may solve your problem.
