Ways to tell if my clutch is going
Honda clutches are notorious for giving little if any warning before they die. The test I've always used to see if the clutch is slipping is: from a slow roll, put the car in 5th, rev it up and drop the clutch. Crude, I know, but it works for me

when u do this if it boggs down that meens everything is ok but if you can keep the rpm's from bogging then your clutch is going. Just take off in first like usual and then shift to 5th and it should bogg real bad but if you put it in 5th and it keeps the rpms up then your clutch is bad!

I always shift like that. I was wondering what that noise was.

You can also get a very general idea by how much you have to depress the clutch before it engages. Our clutch pedals are self-adjusting for wear, and the more the clutch wears the smaller this distance gets. When you no longer have any free play in the pedal the clutch is on it's last legs. This wont help you much in your diagnosis if you just plain glazed the **** out of the thing though. HTH.
You'll feel kind of a shudder when you engage the clutch on regular around town launches. That's pretty telltale.
Don't forget, the hydraulic system for the clutches on these cars is very failure prone. If you've got wetness under the clutch pedal the MC has let go. Usually the carpet will get stained as a side effect of this.
How many miles on the car?

Thanks for all the response! I will try all of the suggestions. Krshultz my car have about 40,000 miles on the clutch. I'm thinking its about time to change it to a clutchnet stage 1
My car has 78k on the odometer. I bought it used and i think its the original clutch. When i bought it at 73K i was able to chirp 2nd, and 3rd. Now i can't chirp at all. Is that a sign to?

If your clutch is going out with that kind of low mileage, assuming there's nothing horrible wrong elsewhere in the car...you should probably look at your driving. It would take a LOT of habitual clutch slip to wear a stock clutch out that fast. Like crawling up a hill, an inch at a time, in gear at a stoplight. Some people call this "riding the clutch."
Also...drag racing, from the little I know of it, is very hard on clutches. You're trying to crack off the best launch, and the best shifts, that you can...sometimes at the expense of your equipment.
How do you drive the car on the street? Do you drag race?

yes... i have bubbly paint on the brake pedal as evidence of MC leak.
do GSR's have very stiff clutches?? mine seems to be very stiff. i compared it to my friends it-r it's super-light compared to mine.

The stiff pedal is likely a side effect of your busted master cylinder. Brake fluid (which is what is used in this hydraulic system) is VERY, VERY CAUSTIC stuff. So whatever grease that was on the bushings at the top of the pedal assembly is no doubt toast.
My mom drives a GS-R and her master cylinder failed. I replaced it, but ever since, the pedal has a squeak to it - no doubt because there's no grease up at the top where the hinge mechanism is.
