Default Changing plugs.

Taking out the Bosch Plats for the stock Cu plugs because of some really bad gas mileage/power decreasing on my B18B. I was wonderin' if I just switched them would I be ok if I didn't check the firing of each cylinder or should I take it some place and have somebody do this?

changing spark plugs is easy. dont pay someone else to do it. and dont use platinum plugs. copper is a better conductor, so it gives a hotter/better spark.

Platinum plugs all the way! That's what your engine was designed for! Platinum plugs ARE copper in the core just like full coppers, so there's no "better conductor" argument. The fine platinum electrodes are only at the end(s) of the core, are smaller and have a higher resistance than the coppers which gives the platinums a hotter spark across the electrodes, (remember resistance = heat) Much more efficient, not to mention longevity!

In any case, plugs are quite easy to change....
