Default jg engine dynamics strikes again

After driving around on one of their great motors quote handle 40psi all motor for a while making sure everything seats right my buddy straps his 60-1 on for two days on around 10 psi. with good A/F according to the FJO low and behold it now has madd rod knock. Was going to dyno next week and turn it up not going to make it.

Even beter it took 2 mounth for him to get the motor but they sent him an LS not a B18c so he sent that back and another month and a half got another motor to his door and it was a B16 not an 18 so he said screw it and kept that one. Best yet they were both painted some nasty gold color.

Javier is the godfather of import racing LOL!

thats some pretty weak stuff. So did he just pay for jg to supply the block, or did he send in a b18c and got back a ls and a b16?

Sounds like he is getting alittle trustworthy in his old days. He actually sent you another motor after you sent the first one back.

This is the most retarded story EVER!! After recieving the first wrong engine I would of called it quits with them. Why in the hell would you even install and drive the 2nd engine that wasn't even yours in the first place? Not saying this is your fault but man, you shouldn't of used the engine he sent you.

Javier told him he had a b18c ready to go on the shelf for him so there was no core involved. That is why he just used the B16 that was what was in his civic anyway.

I had some problem with JG Engine Dynamics in the past. It took me more than 6 months to get my parts. I called every month, asking for my parts and all I get was excuses. The problem with this place is that is so popular and Javier is doing business with Edelbrock and other Dealers that his forgetting about the INDIVIDUAL Customers, the ones that put him where he is now. In top of that, he has a shop that only produce certain amount of work per day, an adding this volume of new work with the same employee of course he won't be able to do the thing right. He's thinking in volume of sales... and of course his "NAME". Remember guys, Dealers mean for him a lot of order, than an individual customers. Normally we believe on what we see, and this place is well advertise. But either GUDE, DPR, PYR, Etc... does the same kind of job or sometimes better. All you got to do is, search on machine shops well. There's so many out there now. Good Luck!

so u paid for a built b18c (1.8l) but settled for a b16(1.6l)........am i missing something here????please tell me i am... Isn't there a pretty big price difference between the two? I'd say, pull the motor send it back sayin its still the wrong one and get the b18c u paid for, then sell that to someone and have GE, bensons, or aebs build u a real block...
