jg engine dynamics strikes again
Gude is the same way, I have enough stories about that fat *** crook. Took me and my bud for over $3k in core fees. It took lawyers and a LOT of help from our c/card companies to get our money back. And then we had nothing but problems with his product.

I have a JG Block and He took about 8 months just to sleeve it?? He turned into an *** hole when I talked to him about what staking so long,he gave me a dumb excuse and told me I can take my block back that he already cut the factory sleeves out of?? He's a Crook .... after you pay him your pretty much screwed....

Back in 99 I got a built block from JG... drove it for little over a week and it dropped a sleeve... absolutely no customer service and no help from them... to this day the block is still sitting on the garage shelf and I've never even thought about or would do business with them again.
I'm not trying to take JG side on this one, but I'd like to point out the fact that the motor spun rod bearings AFTER it was broken in, if the motor wasn't build properly from minute one (improper bearing clearances), it wouldn't take more than 20 mile to kill the rod bearings.......A/F might be good, but could it be there was too much timing? (too much timing can cause enough knock to kill pistons/rods/bearings) low on oil?......I mean people usually like to blame engine builders for disaster and forget that the tuners are equally as important.......I build motors and tune as well, just pointing out what I think......and as far a JG doing disreputable business like take forever to take care of his customers and give them the run around

a bearing can let go at anytime. how long it takes is based on how bad the clearances are along with the other driving conditions

They use to paint them "red" back in the days. I remember when Steph Papadakis was pushing the broom when he was working there.
We would go there to pick up parts with Dave Shih (silver bullet CRX) and then head over to Dynamic Autosports to re-tune the silver CRX. back in the days...360hp to the wheels was the sheeittt......what back in 1996?
I tend to stay away from JG....but everyone has there own opinions and preferences.

you get what you pay for. if you want it to work right, you cano't go cheap man. stop being chimpy and do it right... the metal is not the expensive part. (sleeves) it's the hours of machinging that is expensive. so what,? you go buy som esleeves and hold them in your hands hoping your motor lasts? they have to be installed int he motor properply to work right. so the cost of maching will cost you more than $100 a sleeve. average sleeving job w/o cyclinder boring and honing is around $900-$1100.
