Default upgrading ignition - what's best for boost?

my itr just climbed over the 60k mark and I am getting some bogging at partial throttle between 2500-3500 rpms. It's getting slightly worse, and I'm thinking it's because the distributor and plug wires have never been changed. (I'm assuming the previous owner never bothered.....)

Anyway, I have already changed plugs a while back (stock) and I've had this problem before on a previous car, so that's why I think it's the ignition.

I will also be intalling my 18g turbo soon (FINALLY), so this would be a good time to go ahead and upgrade. Should I just get msd or what? Which one? What plug wires to go with it? If I do get an aftermarket ignition, I'm thinking I'll get one that has the functionality (or upgradability) to add a 2-step launch as well as a spark cut rev limiter.

Suggestions?

Stock ignition has been used up to 500whp. If you are going anything over that then get the MSD Otherwise stock.
