1994-00 Integra LS take a B18C?
sorry, guess i wasn't clear hehe, i meant a motor swap, so yeah, if the gsr will fit in the ls, and it will, so thanks guys!....hehe and i know the ls wouldn't be the gsr if both were stock =P

he got a point there, and I'm not sayin anythin just because I own an RS...but the RS and LS motor are both identical...just minus the sunroof, ABS braking, powerlocks...basically the fancy stuff that adds weight...
for sure though, an RS would smoke an LS because it's lighter, but I guess if done correctly, with the added mods like i/h/e, the RS can smoke stock gsrs.

Your RS with i/h/e and you're beating GSR's? Yeah okay. They couldn't drive then.
Anyway, yes.....you can fit any B-series motor in there with no problems. Sometimes with barely any modification at all.

......take your RS to the track......take your gsr to the track.......see what happens......saying my car is faster than yours on here is pointless.Acording to edmunds.com:
1994 2 Dr GSR-R Integra- 2,667 LBS, 170Hp at 7600 RPM, 128 ft-lbs tq at 6200rpm
1994 2 Dr RS Integra- 2,529 LBS, 142Hp at 6300 RPM, 127 ft-lbs tq at 5200rpm

It is, simply, the power the engine develops, divided by the vehicle's weight.
In road vehicles the power-to-weight ratio is often used as an indication of likely accelerative performance. Vehicle weights have relatively little impact on top speed, which is mostly dependant on aerodynamic drag, which is proportional to the square of the vehicle speed (see drag equation). Acceleration, on the other hand, is dominated by the Newtonian acceleration term, P = ma, so more power (P) will deliver more acceleration (a) for any given vehicle weight (m).

or like someone once told me, for every 100lbs on your car, you will need 10hp more to keep the same performance numbers. So the gsr weighs 138lbs more than an rs, than means it needs almost 14hp more to be quicker. It has 28hp more, so on paper a GSR is faster than a RS (stock v. stock), but not that much faster
excuse me if my science is a bit off, I'll hapily take corrections

You completely ignored gearing. The tighter gearing and higher FD of the GSR alone makes a huge difference in acceleration over the LS.

ummm, I didn't ignore it, but that is definitely something else to add to the equation; there's another thread floating around right now in the integra forum on swapping a gsr/b16 tranny onto a LS motor, and the benefits in acceleration that would bring.
I also didn't address other factors, not because I'm ignoring them, just not thinking of them in the few minutes I take to post. Thanks for bringing that up

It's impossible it can't be done. A GSR engine into an LS? Thats unheard of. You may want to take the easy way out and through a 426 HEMI in there.
I think the question you should be asking is if it is any harder to do that swap. The answer is NO. It's the same car and its a bolt in task. Just gotta wire it and fire it.
