I have an auto Prelude Si which ran a 15.7 @ 89.6 mph with the bolt ons a year ago.
Now I have the DragGenIII kit, my gauge seems to be faulty so with the Delta Wastegate I think
I'm getting about 5psi. Whats your guestimates on my new 1/4 time?
(when I dyno'd it with bolt ons: 140 HP, 136 ft/lb)

Maybe high 13's
5psi maybe like 50-70 horsepower
Every 50 horsepower is a 1 secend in the 1/4mile u may can run 14.5-13.7
Why only 5psi on a good motor like a h23 i been up to like 14psi on a stock bottom end just keep it rich and make sure the timing retard

on slicks 13.5@ about 102mph

 

If done correctly, with 5 PSI look to be at about 215 HP to the Flywheel. thats between 14.0-14.5 on street tires


- 7 PSI about 235 HP to the Flywheel
-10 PSI about 270 HP to the Flywheel
-20 PSI about 375 HP to the Flywheel

 

u must be talking about a small turbo or somthing

 

well I was just guess-timating, heres how I figured it out

(PSI / 14.7) x original HP + original HP = expected HP

a Lude SI = 160 HP
(5 / 14.7) = 0.34
0.34 x 160 = 54.4
54.4 + 160 = 214.4 HP

why how much HP do you normally get from 5, 7, 10 and 20 PSI for a Lude SI?
