rev limit for B18C5 with skunk2 valve train?

Default rev limit for B18C5 with skunk2 valve train?

just wondering how high i can rev with skunk2 valves,springs,and retainers.

I'd say around 9k, but still it'd be a good idea to call Skunk and talk to a spokesperson if you're serious about the investment.

i say over 9 the b18c5 redline is 9 with valve springs over 9

why not dyno it and see where it stops making power. no need to take a motor up to 9000rpm if it only makes power to 8700rpm.

9500 is safe.. 9900-10,000 rpm is where i used to take my b18c5 to everytime i raced the car. no problems. ran great. word to the wise.. dont be afriad to let those cams stretch its legs.. later

hm, so it sounds like right around 9500-10k sounds about right? (replying to those who actually have it)
