Something is stopped up.....but what is it?
I am getting ready to sell my 96 gsr, so I've been checking everything out to make sure it's in good condition. The only thing I've noticed so far is that when I remove the oil filler cap there is a fairly strong and steady flow of air coming up through the hole. I did a compression test and I'm not losing compression on any of the cylinders. Is this what happens when your PCV valve is all gunked up? Or is something else wrong or stopped up? Everything else on the car is perfect, this is the only thing that is wrong.
Someone please help!

Pull your pcv valve and see if its all clogged up. The ball inside should move freely. But if you have not changed it in a while or ever then its always a good idea.

For a GSR, yup. Once you pull it out, jiggle it, if you hear nothing ? it's plugged ... good news? costs like 3-4 dollars.
