hello..jw would a jdm ecu pass inspection?
on katman's ffs technet site..he posted that i would need to run a jdm ecu to get rid of the code 91 on my 96 hatch..
i just need to know if it'll pass inspection before i buy one...
also..correct me if im wrong..obd2a = p72??

JDM ECUs have NO clue about our OBD2 scantools used over here.
Yes, these ECU don't look for the FTP input.
No, you will not pass smog inspection since the stations scantool can't connect with a JDM ECU.
I personally own a scantool and tried recently for a friend who 'thought' he would be mint when going to get smogged with a JDM ECU - no dice.
