Alright first off I should say that everything DOES work, however it kinda freaked me out.

I'm driving down to Kansas City the other day when all this crap starts flying straight at my head. Kinda scarry when you're doing 85 on the highway. Finally figured out it was foam of some sort coming out of my center vents.

Anyone know where exactly this would be coming from or if it is a sign of worse things to come? I should also mention that I had the vents set to circulate the air so it didn't come from outside. 96 Accord EX

 

Sounds like the foam seals around the air vents are badly deteriorated.
Nothing to really worry about as nothing is going to fall apart, but the A/C performance might go down a bit since the vents are not properly sealed anymore.
