Hey all!

My friend Dan just put in a new B16 into my CRX and I love it!! I had an si engine in it, and I snapped the timing belt on it one day. Banged up my #4 exhaust valve up nicely. Anyways, I managed to con my wife into letting me get a new engine for it (after Dan REPEATEDLY told me to. ) Anyways, after a year and a half of getting parts piece by piece, he put it in about 3 weeks ago and I haven't stopped driving the thing!! He put a lightened flywheel in it and a high performance clutch. Cleaned the living daylights out of the engine and engine bay, and like usual, went the extra mile when it came to my car. The thing is FAST! I just thought that Dan deserved some nice kudos for his extra work publicly. He's also the one who turned me onto this site. Granted, I have a few things I still need to do (headers, cams, replace seats, carpeting, etc.) but this is all minor stuff now that my baby is back up and running after so long!

ya my friend use to let me drive his b16 rex it was fun every time i drove, not use to dohc use to sohc but awesome man

 

 

I put new tires on it yesterday and I am having a camber kit thrown on tomorrow (it was about 2.5 degrees off) as well as having it aligned. My wife isn't too happy about all the cost, but she didn't mind when I spent 9 hours at the honda dealership picking out her brand new 20k civic.
