The '00 Integra shared the same ECU connectors as the 99-00 Civic.

The '98-'99 Integra shared the same ECU connectors as the 96-98 Civic.

I believe starting in '99 is when the Integra gained the immobilizer.

96-98 Civic = A, C, D plugs ---> OBD2a
99-00 Civic = A, B, C plugs ---> OBD2b

94-98 Integra = A, C, D plugs ----> OBD2a
99-01 Intagra = A, B, C plugs ---> OBD2b

You can use your 2000 Civic harness.

My bad, the 99 integra apparently is obd2a not obd2b. Which means it has the A, C, and D plugs.

Can anyone confirm this. I need another coffee!

If it is the case, you'll need a 96-98 civic harness.

I personally own both the 98-00 Teg and 96-00 Civic ETM's....the info above is correct.

However, tyring to put a 96-98 harness into a 99-00 chassis is NOT the way to go.

You need a jumper harness.

And since you're dealing with a 99 GS-R ECU, you need to take care of the immobilizer as well.

I thought this was right. But he tells me that his harness doesn't fit in the the 99 GSR ECU. That's why I'm all confused now.

Its partially right.

98-99 Integra = 96-98 Civic
00 Integra = 99-00 Civic

I don't know about the previous year Tegs - I don't own that Helms so I can't say anything about it.

As you can see, he owns a 00 hatch, which means only a 00 Teg ECU would plug directly in, however, he is using a 99 ECU...obviously, not compatible ECU connectors....need an intermediate harness.

According to Helms, 94-95 is obd1 not obd2a (I gotta pay more attention when I type, my appologies). 96-98 is obd2a and it's unclear about the 99 teg, but I guess you cleared that up.

Just to clear the OBD's up:

1992-95 Integra - OBD1
1996-99 Integra - OBD2A (OBD2)
2000-01 Integra - OBD2B (OBD2.5)

1992-95 Civic - OBD1
1996-98 Civic - OBD2A (OBD2)
1999-00 Civic - OBD2B (OBD2.5)

You MUST use a 99-00 Civic harness only. The Integra harness WILL NOT work and neither will any other years Civic's besides the 99-00. For a GSR swap, the ideal harnesses would be either a 99-00 EX or Si for the most plug and play wiring. You'll need to only extend a few wires and add the IAB wiring. You can also use the stock CX harness and add the needed plugs/wiring as well.
The only way for the 99 GSR to work with your chassis (without a lot of headaches and rewiring) is to purchase an OBD2B to OBD2A ECU adapter harness.
