Edelbrock Intake manifold?over skunk 2
there are a few threads about this try a search and you might fund them they had some good info in them ...from what i know the edelbrock needs some compression to work to the best of it capabilities ...i dont know how much compression though ...but i know im going with a Skunk2 manifold that im going to send out along with my head for porting ...
Get the JG I have both intake manifolds. I threw the skunk2 on my daily driver now. Was a big bottleneck for my race car. Compression is modest 12.5:1 for now! Ported head and big cams need to breath and drink (fuel). I recomend it I felt the difference from owning both manifolds I mean I really felt it but thats my motor. Big stroke motors can sacrifice a lil low end but the gain of massive top end is worth it. My friend also has tested both on his car he also had a skunk2 but changed his manifold and no other mods and dove into the 12's on street tires in a 92 civic hatch lsvtec. Oh I run B20VTEC though. I mean everones motor is different so dont go out and buy an Edelbrock manifold for your B16a with an intake and header. But nicely built motors can see gains. All depends on the motor...
