3 bolts out, unplug the 2 clipsm pull old dist out.
turn the new dist rotor to match the old one.
reverse process.
you are an idiot and dont deserve to change your own oil if you cant do this.

give him a break. he's 17 and willing to admit he does'nt know. as mentioned the three screws hold it on. undo the electrical connectors. i'd go ahead and replace the cap rotor and wires while you're at it. get you a haynes manual for now. it'll be very helpful.
The screws that hold the dizzy on are usually a pain to get out.
You might have to use an impact driver is the hex heads strip out.
Unplug the connectors and remove the old one.
When you put the new one in, make sure the connection between the distibutor and the camshaft is correct. On some cars you can install it wrong and it looks right EXCEPT the distrbutor doesn't sit completely flucsh with the head. If that happens, remove it and rotate the distrbutor connction 180 degrees and try again.
Put the bolts in to hold it in place, but only tighten down loosely.
Put all the wires on.
Set timing (don't forget to disable the ignition advance.
Tighten down the mounting screws and you're done.

Usually... until it strips the head off because it's in there so tight!
