did the obd0-obd1 conversion and this is my problem
i need to know what the firing order is for the single vtec motor. my motor is a d15 people say that is a d16z6 is that true
i'm get code 6-7 on my obd1 single vtec motor in my 91 civic where can i find it how do it look if you have a pic of it can i seee it please thank you
how do i read the obd1 codes in my obd0 car please help
i did the conversion on my car and it not running right when i start it up in the morning it idle below 1 and if i give it gas it will shut or back fire sometime and when i'm driving on the highway and i'm in high 3rd gear or in 4th gear the speed ometer drop's to 0 and some time i loss allthe power but the car will still be running and if i put it in 2nd gear the power will kick in like hell please tell me my problem
would the water sensor have something to do with the vtec not kicking in on the single vtec motor

what year and model did the motor you put in your car come out of?
If it came from a 92-95 Si or EX its a SOHC Vtec d16z6

6 is coolant temp sensor and 7 is the TPS sensor. Sound like you need to calibrate your throttle position sensor, and check to see if your temp sensor is hooked up or faulty.
i have a jdm motor it says d15 i was told that it a d16z6 will the tps snesor and the water sensor have something to do with the vtec not kick in and when the car is cold if i give it gas it will cut off will these two parts have something to do with that
the jdm d15b is the 1.5 vtec motor and is basically the same as the z6 which is 1.6 but they are two different motors. what intake manifold are you using?
when u people convert need to switch the wires for the TPS.
also dpfi and I think the si are not wired corretly for the coolant temp sensor.
obd1

i have the stock 1.5 intake manifold on the one that came with the motor and its in my 91 civic si and why is the wiring wrong and will this cause my vtec not to kick in
my installer installed a diagnostic plug by the ecu, since my dx didn't have one to check the codes. just plug a paper clip in the plug and the check engine light flashes for the numbers for the cel codes. Have you tried seeing if the tps sensor and map sensor plug are on the right sensor? The plugs look exactly the same.
if it's a dpfi manifold then your robbing that engine. also when you did the swap did you run a p28,hondata, or zdyne ecu? did you convert to obd1? are you running anything to activate the vtec?
yeah, when you say odb0-odb1 conversion, did you actually do a conversion harness to make it odb1 or did you just put and odb1 engine in your car?
