Default TODA Competition Header / Fujitsubo RM-01A

I have decided that I want to upgrade the exhaust on my ITR, and have narrowed it down to this:

TODA Competition Header and a Fujitsubo RM-01A cat-back

I chose the header because I have heard great things about power gains, especially in the midrange. The good ground clearance also appeals to me. The exhaust I chose because of the quieter sound and good reviews. Both products sound like top-notch quality.

My car is a daily driver so I value a quiet system. I autocross at least once a month as well and will begin tracking the car come August.

My question is:

What type of cat would I use to connect the two ends? Are there any other fitment problems that may arise using these two products?

Any other comments/suggestions are welcome regarding this exhaust system.

Does the OEM JDM ITR cat have the 2.5" outlet or whatever to properly mate to the 2.5" collector on the header? I know SMSP's does, but not sure about Honda's.

JDM ITR cat works.

That's what I'm using with the Toda header / RM-01A combo.

Is that cheaper than the SMSP one? And if it is, where can I get one?

Is there much of a performance difference between an SMSP cat and a JDM ITR cat?

Also, will I get any CEL using these pieces or is there any modification of the o2 sensors needed?

Thanks for the help.

The JDM ITR cat doesn't have any 02 bungs so you will have to have one welded on.

I use to run that header on my race car it shows gains of about 30hp to the wheels allowing you tune it for about 17.5 - 1 Air fuel ratio.

get car sound cat
once a while i get check engine light w/ code p0420 which is
cat system efficiency below threshold (bank1)
but just clear/reset the ecu w/ obd2 connector and it goes away
just did that today too for getting state inspection
by the way, new MASS law which changed about 2weeks ago says any car w/ check engine light will fail inspection automatically

JDM ITR cat + custom welded 2ndary O2 sensor bung. It won't crap out like carsound ones.

Toda + RM-01 = (Add Mugen Intake and you've got my favorite I/H/E setup )

comptech race header is a good option. I think you probably will sacrifice a little ground clearance though.
