What do do!! ARGH I cant make up my mind!!!!
ok, I got an LS. Heres the mods I have, Im REALLY wanting a Type R now, and really torn between what to do, sell or keep?
heres whats on the LS
Engine
-ITR pistons
-Venom intake manifold
-port/polish
-3 angle valve job
-Crower titanium retainers
-Crower dual valve springs
-Big bore TB
-Fluidline radiator
-Greddy Stainless header
-AEM fuel Rail
-ITR FPR
-280cc injecors
-AEM CAI
-DC stainless Exhaust
-ACT clutch
-Polished valve cover
-All new belts, hoses, bolts, gaskets, ect.
Appearance/suspension
-OEM body kit
-98+ ITR front end (with ITR lip)
-98+ ITR headlights
-Comptech ITR wing
-20% tint
-Neuspeed race springs
-16in rims, with kuhmos in the back, Nitto 555's in front
-Misc. sound system stuff (head unit and speakers)
Car has 95,000 miles on it, 3000 on rebuild
my main grips about the car are...
-Strange ticking noise
-Jumping tachs (after replacing Ignitor, still does it above 6000
)
-Lack of stability at higher speeds
-Sacrificng relibility for performance
-INTERIOR, I have the really shitty beige cloth
-Paint condition (medium, basically looks great with wax, without it looks like ***)
-My rims, well just suck (focals) but I refinished them in gunmetal
-Still no VTEC, not as fast as I would like, still quick (mid 14's), not a very linear power curve
-CEL comes on, from "idle contol something" Has somethign to do with manifold.
So people, WHAT SHOULD I DO? Im sick of dumping money into this LS, just plain sick, and things keep going wrong. SO I want to sell it for a ITR, with aroudn 10-20,000 miles on it, I want refinement without sacrificing relibility, and I want a better overall car. I like the integra line, just not mine, I want a better one to start with. What do you think I should do? Please help me here.

You will never make the money back that you spend on modifying a car. If you can live with that, and are tired of your current ride then maybe it's time for something new.

I would say get the ITR. Mid-14s is fast for an LS but you will never feel the way an R owner does when he gets behind the wheel. I dont know how many of those aftermarket parts you can bolt on to an ITR, but some of them would surely fit. Go get the ITR, you won't be disappointed.
My new sig will be. "Type R.... Performance without the Check Engine Light."

without a boubt get an itr!! you wont be dissapointed, and when you drive something else after having the r for awhile well....everything else just suck's. also the color doe's not have anything to do with horsepower...good luck
