Default my fist post...with a question

hey, im cory i just got registered i drive a 94 civic coupe wit the stock d16z6 in it wit a new cam, header ,cam gear, pulleys, full cat back, new clutch and suspension. i am about to invest in buyin a apex vtec controller and was wondering where all i should set my settings to be at... just looking for some help write back if you have some good ideas for it...thanx

I would invest in some dyno time to get the most out of it. I wouldnt mess with the vafc settings without being on the dyno. But thats just me.

i was planning on getttin it on the dyno i was still just sort of curious as to where i should go about settin te engagment point for the vtec at.

keep it stock til you can tune it.

stock setting is the best setting for now, unless a dyno says otherwise.

yeppers take it to get dyno tuned...if done wrong vtec controllers can cause trauma.trust me.

good basic set-up. leave the VTEC controller along until you know how to use it.

upgrad ur fuel system... boost that sohc... since it sucks...

take it to someone who knows what they are doing, and have them tune it.. right now it wont make the hugest difference with an n/a sohc but it will be worth it if you ever choose to boost your car.
