Default ?about plugs and air/fuel

ok i was pulling my plugs to check them and found something odd the plugs on 3 and 4 were both full of carbon deposits, all black and crap (like they are running rich) but 1 and 2 were both plain with alittle white on the tip that grounds the spark (like they are running lean) mods are venom fuel pump, adjustable fpr, msd 6al with external coil, cai, skunk 2 im,and thats it as far as thing that would affect air/fuel now if run a mugen p30 for awhile and now have switched to a skunk2 p28 and have a vafc2 also the plugs are ngk v groove before you get on me for that
i also have black sut and carbon crap coming out of the tail pipe and some white smoke.... but no coolant loss at all

I only asked about the gas because I heard that you can get carbon deposits if you run too high of octane, because it is a slower burning fuel. But I am stumped with why only 2 cylanders has carb. dep. Not one and not four but two. somebody help this man out

It sounds more like the cylinders you think are lean are running "fine", and the other cylinders are swallowing a little oil. Could be that you have old valve stem seals and they are starting to give out, or the rings on those cylinders are letting a little oil by.

Hit it up with a compresison test and see if the carbon'd cylinders are higher or lower than the others. Does it still feel like it's running strong?

well i took the cap off the dizzy and cleaned it (it looked kinda crapy) and hooked it all back together and now im gonna run it for a few days and check the plugs again i was running an ecu that ran very very rich so i think these 2 things worked together to cause the carbon build up now if this solves the problem then should i "clean" clean the motor of the carbon aka should i run that sea foam stuff to "clean" it
