Default itr in a 99 civic

i have a itr and i wanna boost the head is running around about 11+:1 i just wanna know if it can handle around 5 psi

any honda b series block will handle 5psi with good tunning, but if you wanted to be on the safe side get lower compression pistons

aight thanks would it be a good idea to change the coolant hoses.

i already have to change out the vtec solenoid mine i leaking

your coolant hoses should be fine, unless there cracked or have holes or something like that.

Make sure you have some kind of fuel management (E.g. FMU at least)

Not on its own it wont! An fmu will rais the fuel press as it sees boost. Or you can get hondata or aem ems and some injectors. Or you can get an ITR greddy kit (I think they make one??) and that will have new injectors and a control unit already tuned for your ITR. If you only want 5 psi go with the greddy, simple bolt on power W/O the hassle of tuneing it yourself.
