Default main stud compatibility

aebs makes a MAIN STUD kit for b16 kit and b18c...from what i understand on a stock motor...the b18c has the girdle, so the middle studs are longer (correct me if im wrong), the b16 are all the same length..
question is...on a LS/b20 motor, which do u use? im assumin b16, but are they the right length? possibly too short? too long?

remember im talkin MAIN STUDS not head studs!!!

thanks!

The main studs will not all be the same length on a B16. #3 mains are larger on a B16 and a B18C. Check your stock main bolts, the middle are larger. I'm using the ARP main stud kit for the B16 and the kit does include a pair of studs that are slightly larger than the others.
