b18c del sol, died while cruising at 2400RPM, no spark all of the sudden! ? any insight?
just cruisin in 5th gear, 45mph at some low *** RPM, heard a sputter and then engine shut right off. Got it to a freinds house, ECU turns on, fuel pump cycles, timing belt is wholesome, just no spark now. Clean the recepticles inside the cap, cleaned the rotor, put it all back together and still no spark. Think i just need a new cap and rotor? Its probably the original cap and rotor with 75k. I dont think plug wires could **** out like that, especially all four all at once. Everyones suggestions are welcomed and thanked!
Reason i ask this lame question, is my car is 65 miles away from me right now and i wanna make sure i know all possible causes. No check engine lights came on either...
