Default Honda Accord 1990 EX (Wired Problem) Fuel tank indicator never comes down!!! PLS Help

Hi experts

I have my Honda Accord 1990 EX 246,000Km (Canadian Model) and it seems that since this spring when i was driving on the highway, my fuel indicator started moving up "Full Tank" and when i stop it does not come down anymore. the day
after when i start it comes down and shows the proper amount of fuel
and when i drive for about 15 minuits it starts rising to top.

I also had intermittant starting problems last month and most of the
time when it was hot weather and i did not have this problem this
month even when it was hot, also i forgot to mention before, that when
the fuel indicator rises up the car starts misfiering back and forth
and when i come to a complete stop (Brake on drive gear) the engine vibrates and the OIL pressure light comes on and goes away.

i changed the Main Relay last week and it did not help much, i still have
my fuel indicater rising problem, misfireing and engine vibration.

Let me tell you this, when i start the car in the morning the fuel indicator on the dash comes down from the top and shows the right amout of gas and the car runs very smooth and when the car gets hot for an example after 15minuites the fuel indicator on the dash rises to the top and all the above mentioned problems comes up.

i noticed that my check engine light does not work at all even when i
turn on the ignition without starting.

Any help will be really appriciated!!

Cheers

My GUESS would be that you have a power wire shorting to ground somewhere. The fuller your tank is, the more resistance is added via the potentiometer. If it is shorted to ground, it will say full all the time. I don't have a schematic in front of me to be able to say if anything else is in the power supply splice for the sending unit. If you have a schematic check that out.
