I soldered all of the wires and the vafc works, but I don't hear my fuel pump "engaging" as I turn the key and the car will not start.
Please help me diagnose the problem.
TIA

Does your ECU light come on with the key? in other words, is the ECU getting power? If not, then check your splices for the VAFC power and ground and make sure the power for the ECU is still running to the ECU...

thanks for the quick response.
I actually just trimmed some of the sheething off of the ecu wires and then wrapped the vafc wire around it and soldered it. I then wrapped it in electrical tape.
I just checked and I don't get the ecu light, so I believe it's getting power.
Any more ideas?
