obd0 to obd1
To pass legally you need to have it approved by a certified referee.
After passing you will get a sticker that says it's legal for you to have that engine swap.
Some heads up - you need to have all the smog equipment that the engine came with originally. Since the B16 you have is most likely a JDM motor, you will have to find all the parts from a USDM car that came stock with the B16 (Del Sol I think). You will need the USDM ECU and everything the USDM car has - including the intake filter box or equivalent for THAT engine.
Depending on the referee, they may or may not let some things slide like the filter box. Some don't even check to make sure you have the correct ECU.

Because Governor "alll be baack" made it that you have to regester your car after 30 days or more stay in Cali.
edit:
He didnt make the law, but he is pushing this law harder then ever before... so if a cop see the same car with out of state plates, then again within 30 days... He is required to issue a change of address request through the dmv. Or something very close to this.

if i get a dc 4-1 header that is carb exempt do i still need the extra wires four line o2 sensor or whatever it is called? or doesnt it matter?
Ya, get a carb legal header for a 99-00 civic si/94-97 del sol vtec. Place the 4 wire o2 in the collector pipe before the cat and wire it to the obd0-1 conversion harness. You can also get a Skunk2 IM for a 94-97 del sol vtec, thats also carb certified. Ryan

Not true on the injectors. You can remove the injector resistor and add the obd1 injectors, or you can keep it simple and keep the resistor and your factor obd0 injectors which saves a whole step.
