tach install green wire to the ecu??

Default tach install green wire to the ecu??

can i just tap the ecu for my tach rpm wire instead of going all the way outside to the disb...and if so which pin.... also pix would also help.. i tried searching but all i found was to hook it up to the blue wire in the disbtrib..

why not the wire behind the cluster? Whether your stock cluster has a tach or not, the wire is there.

hmmmmmm i guess.will that be ok?what color is it?. do i have to take my sterring wheel to open the dang cluster.?? also i know the red is for power.. but where do i tap that to?

wow good stuff. i was thinking about my cluster but i dont want to go to all the hasle of taking that off. beside i already bought the wire.. lost my recipt. hahahhah oh well. thanks guys.

you can get power for the ign wire and light from here in the fuse box.

Yep, where the circle is. You should be able to see two male spade terminals. Just crimp a female terminal on the wire and it plugs right in. great source for 12v ign or 12v lights on.

so ill use both of them then. ill just connect the white(light) in one and the power (red) in the other..

wow. never knew that.. hmmm i guess ill just hook up my tach power and light to those.. instead of tapping the wires...im glad i made this thread.thanks for everything guys...

I know this is old but does it matter witch one of the options do you use for power and witch one do you use for the light source or does it matter

yah.. im not sure.. but i think from the red circled above.. right is power 12v and left is light.
